Collaboration rooms
A teaching room used fifteen hours a week deserves equipment that works without preparation. Standardising it across several rooms lowers the unit cost and removes retraining every time someone changes room.
AV integration
A lecture hall is not furnished with mobile gear that disappears. Integration fixes the cabling, protects the devices and makes use obvious, which matters more here than anywhere when the user changes every session.

Projection readable with the room lights on, because nobody turns the lights off to take notes. Connection has to work with an unknown laptop, without an adapter to ask for.
One fixed camera is enough for lecture recording, provided the audio comes from the microphone and not the camera. That detail decides whether the replay is listenable or abandoned after two minutes.
Cable routing and device protection matter as much as the model chosen. Anything reachable without a key eventually disappears or gets unplugged, in a building open to the public.
